Join us at for a special evening workshop and meal with Alanna Kieffer of Shifting Tides NW, an educator and seaweed specialist focused on connecting people to the edible and ecological potential of Pacific Northwest seaweeds.

Beginning with an interactive workshop exploring local seaweed varieties, harvesting ethics, and practical ways to incorporate sea vegetables into everyday cooking. Which is why you are here! We’ve built a fun menu around several local seaweed varieties; wakame, kombu, and dulse, showcasing their flavor, versatility, and ease of use.

Expect a menu that includes

  • wakame calamari salad tostadas

  • charred kombu hushpuppies

  • grilled rainbow trout over braised wakame

  • vanilla ice cream and crispy wakame

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the region’s most thoughtful voices on seaweed while experiencing a menu designed to highlight seafood in everyday items ways.
