Join us for an afternoon on the waterfront deck at Pal’s with Redolent Wine Company, the collaborative project of Jon Larson and Boyd Pearson. Redolent was founded in 2015 after a friend offered up an extra ton of Pinot Noir, and what began as a small, scrappy side project has grown into a winery rooted in friendship, fermentation, and a shared love of thoughtful wine. Jon brings a deep background in fermentation of all kinds—from grapes and grains to bread, cheese, kimchi, and kombucha—while Boyd brings years in wine sales and a clear gift for introducing people to bottles they remember.
That mix of curiosity and hospitality gives Redolent a strong identity. Their wines are made with a light hand, with the goal of being stewards rather than over-managers of the process, allowing grape, place, and vintage to come through clearly. For this event, the winery will be on hand pouring and spending time with guests throughout the afternoon while Pal’s serves a light four-course midday meal on our covered patio overlooking the sailboats at Tomahawk Bay Marina. It should feel relaxed, conversational, and very much in keeping with what Redolent seems to care about most: wines redolent of place, and wines redolent of pleasure.
